Having failed to show up in last year's blockbuster sequel Jurassic World, Goldblum himself - star of such films as The Fly and The Life Aquatic - had some words to say about potentially starring in its follow-up.
Of course, this being Jeff Goldblum, the actor decided to express these thoughts in a suitably irreverent manner.
"I'm nothing if not open," he told Fandango. "I'm like an open-faced sandwich. My door is not always open - I took the door off. I removed the hinges from the door. I'm too open. I'm like a chicken piccata."
If you say so, Jeff.
In case the actor's in danger of sounding a little too game for appearing in Jurassic World 2, he added the below:
"What was I about to say? Oh yes, the two [Jurassic] movies I did with them were plenty. If I never did anything more, I'd certainly be well satisfied."
Goldblum starred in both Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park (1993) and its sequel The Lost World (1997). Regardless of whether or not he'll show up alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in Colin Trevorrow's second Jurassic World film - which currently sits within the five highest grossing films of all time - remains a mystery to all.
