Jack Black is the latest celebrity to try his hand at the “WAP” dance challenge.

The social media challenge – which sees people recreating the risqué dance moves made famous by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion in their music video for “WAP”– went viral after the duo’s hit song was released in August.

Jennifer Lopez, Jason Derulo and Vanessa Hudgens are among the stars to have taken part.

Yesterday (15 November), Black shared to Instagram a video of his own attempt at the dance.

The clip sees the Tenacious D singer dressed only in a pair of red Speedos, showing off his moves while being sprayed with water from a hose.

Celebrities have been quick to commend the comedian for the hilarious video, which has since received nearly 850,000 likes.

The Hangover’s Ed Helms wrote: “How dare you NOT do this on the giant trampoline behind you?!”

Robert Downey Jr commented: “Get it!!!” Musician Beck, meanwhile, gave Black his stamp of approval simply by posting a crown emoji.

Community’s Joel McHale noted: “This is the best thing that ever happened."

Naomi Watts wrote: “Owning it!” preceded by a series of laughing emojis. Meanwhile, actor Colin Hanks added: “Absolutely stunning. Just perfect.”

Public Enemy applauded the 51-year-old’s flexibility, commenting: “Nice windmill.”

Black previously made his TikTok debut earlier this year in April with a hilarious “Quarantine Dance”.
