Your support makes all the difference.Captain America: Civil War has not hit cinemas yet (just one day to go as of writing) yet both Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr have been openly discussing their futures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
First up was Evans, who told The Independent he’d “consider” doing more films, but was equally happy to let another actor take over as Captain America.
Downey Jr has now revealed he would be up for doing further Iron Man films despite previously saying there were no plans whatsoever to do a fourth film.
Uncharacteristically, when asked about doing further Iron Man films, the actor said on a special Nightline feature for ABC: “I feel like I could do one more.”
This marks the first times Downey Jr has openly admitted he’s willing to do more solo work and has come as quite a surprise to many Marvel fans who thought he would be done with the series following Avengers: Infinity War.
If he does appear as the superhero in another film, it would mark his eleventh appearance as Iron Man, following on from Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Avengers, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Spiderman: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War Part One, Part Two and a cameo in The Incredible Hulk.
Meanwhile, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has spoken about his character’s costume, saying he was initially ‘disappointed’ by how ‘baggy’ it was.
