Speaking to Oprah Winfrey in a recorded interview aired yesterday, the 27-year-old admitted being addicted to alcohol, but said she had tried cocaine no more than 15 times.
The Freaky Friday star said she is in "a different head space" now and vowed to stay "present and clear-headed and focused".
She said: "I feel whole again and I have such a desire to want to keep this feeling and stay this way, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes."
She completed her latest court-ordered stay in rehab in July, and must continue therapy into late next year.
When asked what she is on these days, she said: "Vitamins."
Winfrey asked: "You're not on any prescription drugs?"
"No, no," Lohan insisted, before adding: "I take Nexium, because I have acid reflux."
When Winfrey asked if Lohan can turn her life around this time, she said with no hesitation: "Yeah."
The interview aired as an episode of Oprah's Next Chapter on the Oprah Winfrey Network, which will cover Lohan's life next year in an eight-part documentary.
