The image, posted on his Instagram account, shows the script for the new Batman vs. Superman film bearing a large imprint of his surname implying it was meant specifically for him.
Ben Affleck was announced as the new Batman last month to a hostile reception from comic book fans. British actor Henry Cavill has been confirmed to play Superman, after appearing as the character in this year's film Man of Steel.
Bieber has previously expressed his love of the superhero, going as far as having a custom-built Batmobile made for him.
Explaining the customisation of the black cadillac, he said: "I just liked the idea. I just liked the idea that it could look like that. I am [a Batman fan]. But I just liked the car."
However, shortly after posting the picture, Bieber tweeted "Off to do something funny or...die :)", apparently making reference to Will Ferrell's comedy site and implying the script could be a prop in a spoof video.
