Often, alongside these films, the studio releases an animated short, many of which have gone on to win numerous awards, three of which have won academy awards for Best Animated Short Film.
Alongside Finding Dory, the studio released an adorable short titled Piper featuring a young Seagull and its quest to become self-sufficient. Unfortunately, while searching for food, the waves come crashing down, causing the Gull to be afraid of the Ocean. Eventually, the bird finds a way.
With the aforementioned Finding Nemo sequel finally being released on DVD and Blue-ray, “Piper” has found its way online. Watch below.
Recently, another short animation from the Pixar team emerged online, Borrowed Time, a much more sober affair compared with the studio’s normal output.
Finding Dory is released on DVD and Blue-ray 28 November in the UK.
