From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Brand new Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, features a post-credits scene which teases what's to come in the franchise's final instalment which will arrive next year.

The sequel, which has received a deluge of negative reviews from critics, sees Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) attempt to entice Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) back into his life.

Fans left wanting more, however, are in luck thanks to the additional scene tagged on to the end of the credits.

Fifty Shades Darker - Extended Trailer

If you're yet to see Fifty Shades Darker and don't want to know what happens, look away now.

The scene begins with Anastasia wearing a wedding dress and veil and the back of an unseen man;s head. Viewers are led to assume this is, of course, Christian Grey as we hear him recite wedding vows over a montage clip of them engaging in (non-sexual) activities together, like boarding a private jet and chilling at the beach.

The clip ends as Grey says: “I solemnly vow to keep you safe for as long as we both shall live.”

So there you have it - that's what you're being left with until Fifty Shades freed is released in cinemas next February.

Fifty Shades Darker sees cast members Rita Ora, Marcia Gay Harden, Jennifer Ehle and Luke Grimes all return alongside new additions Tyler Hoechlin, Bella Heathcote and Kim Basinger.
