In the third instalment, the now slightly aged and dishevelled Expendables team decide to recruit a new generation of Expendables to assist them in their mission to overthrow their co-founder Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who has now turned on them.
The trailer opens with an introduction from star Terry Crews standing in a gym imploring us to check out “The biggest, baddest action movie of all time”.
We then see the Barney (Sylvester Styllone), Christmas (Jason Statham) and the rest of the team whooping loudly while jumping out of a helicopter.
What follows is a series of impressive explosions, gunshots and fight scenes all aptly set to the sound of Eminem’s "Berserk". Remarkable special effects and dangerous stunts mean this film is bound to impress action fans.
As well as the anticipated action shots, the trailer also give us a peek at the film’s more comedic element as we watch the older team struggle to keep up with their younger and more tech-savvy companions.
Expendables 3 is released in the UK on 4 August
