Cruel Intentions stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair have recreated their famous kiss scene from the 1999 film.

The actors got together to celebrate Blair’s 48th birthday, with Gellar sharing an Instagram picture of the pair kissing through a face mask decorated with sparkly lips.

“I got my kiss,” Gellar captioned the post.

This is not the first time Gellar and Blair have recreated the scene. When they won the MTV Movie Award for best kiss in 2000, they leaned in for a kiss as they accepted the accolade.

The cult teen drama follows step-siblings Sebastian (Ryan Phillippe) and Kathryn (Gellar), who make a bet on whether Sebastian will manage to seduce the headmaster's daughter, Annette (played by Reese Witherspoon).

As well as taking home the trophy for the best kiss, Gellar also won the best female performance prize at the MTV Movie Awards in 2000.

Blair was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018. Last year, she revealed her treatment left her immune system compromised and she experienced hair loss.
