The show's executive producer has given no reason as to why

Speaking at the Television Critics Association’s press tour, the show’s creator Noah Hawley revealed the news, saying: “Bryan asked to take his name off the show, so we have done that.”
Singer, who was credited as an executive producer during the credits, has recently been accused of sexual assault and fired from the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
While no official reason has been given as to why Singer asked for his name to be removed, Hawley has elaborated on Singer's role, telling Deadline: “Very early on in the conception of the show, I met him a couple of times.
“He was interested in directing the pilot, but once I stepped in to direct, I haven’t spoken to him since that moment. Really, he was a name on the screen.”
Singer’s future on another X-Men show, The Gifted, also remains in question as Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn has said they’re “seriously considering” axing him.
As the director helmed the pilot episode, that contractually means his executive producer credit needs to remain on the show.
