Bond 24 appears to have found its next Bond girl, with multiple reports claiming Blue Is The Warmest Colour's Léa Seydoux has signed up to Sam Mendes' Skyfall follow-up.

The 29-year-old will play a "femme fatale" according to the Daily Mail (though let's hope it's a part a little more subtle and rich than that), with the French actress being picked despite casters originally looking for a Scandinavian for the role.

Seydoux is reportedly set to meet up with stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris for a script read-through in November.

Though best known for the Palme d'Or-winning drama Blue Is The Warmest Colour, she has also appeared in Grand Budapest Hotel, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Inglorious Basterds.

Bond 24 (a title has yet to be revealed) is set to go into production in December with a scheduled release date of 23 October, 2015 in the UK and 6 November, 2015 in the US.

The tiny Austrian town of Obertilliach is expected to be among the shooting locations, along with a car chase in Rome and a sequence in Morocco.
