From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Keeping track of all these Marvel films isn’t an easy task for the casual fan. Not only are there 11 Marvel Cinematic Universe films confirmed to be coming out in the next few years, but their release orders keep changing, as do their names.

While doing their final promotional duties for Captain America: Civil War, the Russo brothers revealed that Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 and Part 2 will likely change names before release.

“The movies are two very different movies,” Joe Russo told Uproxx when asked how they decided to cut the film in two.

Asked whether it was misleading to label them Part 1 and Part 2, Anthony agreed “It is misleading,” with Joe adding: “The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it.”

With the films not being necessary parts of the same story, it makes sense to retitle, especially when you consider - as noted in the report - that fans have become a little weary of “Part1, Part 2” films (Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Divergent series, Twilight).

In other Marvel news, Tilda Swinton’s casting in Doctor Strange has proven contentious with fans, many believing an Asian actor should have taken the role.
