The salaries of Avengers: Endgame‘s main cast has been revealed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Downey Jr, who has played Iron Man since 2008, negotiated with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige to receive backend profit on the series.

The actor is estimated to have earned at least $75m from last year’s Infinity War, which grossed more than $2bn, and will likely make more from Endgame, with the film smashing box office records and earning $1.2bn in its opening weekend alone.

For 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, it’s believed he earned $5m a day for what amounted to three days’s work.

Chris Hemsworth, who originally signed on for five films back in 2010, renegotiated his contract to play Thor in Infinity War and Endgame, earning between $15m and $20m per film. Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, also renegotiated the same $15m – $20m deal, after his five-picture contract was up.

Scarlett Johansson’s salary for Endgame itself is unknown, although she will earn $20m for both starring in and producing the new standalone Black Widow film, set for release in 2020.
