This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

The vampire saga of our era, Twilight, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary - a span of time apparently long enough for one of its own stars to forget it ever existed.
Anna Kendrick took to Twitter to make the revelation, writing: "Holy s***. I just remembered I was in Twilight."
Kendrick starred as Jessica Stanley, the high school friend to the film's hero, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). Kendrick went on to find critical acclaim for her role in Jason Reitman's Up in the Air (2009), while also starring in the hugely successful Pitch Perfect series.
Although the series is most famous for launching the careers of stars Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the Twilight movies did manage to ensnare a few recognisable names.
The Haunting of Hill House's own Elizabeth Reaser played Esme Cullen, the mother to Pattinson's broody vampire Edward Cullen.
Meanwhile, Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek played Benjamin, who belonged to the Egyptian Coven, while Jurassic World's Bryce Dallas Howard played Victoria of the American Nomads.
