Your support makes all the difference.Alfred Molina is set to reprise his role as Otto 'Doctor Octopus' Octavius in Marvel’s forthcoming Spider-Man 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Molina, who has reportedly been seen on the new film’s set set, originally played Doc Ock in Sam Raimi's 2004 sequel, Spider-Man 2, where his character is a brilliant scientist who becomes an eight-legged supervillain.
Marvel and Sony have not commented at this time.
The forthcoming Spider-Man 3 stars Tom Holland as the titular lead and is dated for a December 2021 release. The latest installment follows Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home and will be directed by Jon Watts.
Other returning actors include Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, as well as Zendaya (Michelle), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned), and Tony Revolori (Flash).

Before Holland's turn as Spider-Man in the Marvel Universe, Toby Maguire wore the red and blue suit in Raimi's 2000s trilogy. Andrew Garfield also portrayed Spider-Man in 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man and its aforementioned 2014 sequel, both of which were directed by Marc Webb.
These latest developments only further dispel Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson's recent comments that a three-way Spidey-verse crossover was not on the cards. In addition to Jamie Foxx, JK Simmons, who popped up at the very end of Far From Home, is also reprising his role as newspaper editor J Jonah Jameson from the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy.
