Your support makes all the difference.Christa Allen, the actor who played the teenage version of Jennifer Garner’s character in 13 Going on 30, has recreated a scene from the film.
The 2004 romantic comedy starred Garner as the grown-up version of Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old who wishes she could fast-forward time and be 30.
When her wish comes true, she finds herself trapped in an adult body. Allen played the young Rink.
Allen, who is now 28, celebrated Halloween by recreating the scene where Rink dresses up for a party while Whitney Houston's “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” plays in the background.
In a clip posted to Instagram with the caption “Jenna Rink forever”, Allen can be seen wearing a replica of the striped Versace dress that Garner wore in the scene.
13 Going on 30 celebrated its 16th anniversary in April. It also starred Mark Ruffalo as Rink’s love interest. He shared a throwback photo of his and Garner’s characters cuddling to mark the date.
