Your support makes all the difference.Comic-Con images and footage are getting released after the mega-event this past weekend in San Diego, and at one of the panels for DC Comics' Green Lantern, four posters were revealed featuring the leads in the film, including Ryan Reynolds in the title role as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.
The stylistic images via movie website Collider, frame each actor in the image of the powerful ring that offers Jordon super powers as a member of the interstellar police force that guards the galaxy from evil.
Also pictured are the evil characters Mark Strong ( Kick-Ass, Sherlock Holmes) as Sinestro and Peter Sarsgaard ( An Education) as Hector Hammond. Also, Blake Lively ( Gossip Girl and Ben Affleck's upcoming The Town) plays Carol Ferris.
The film is directed by Martin Campbell who made Casino Royale, The Mark of Zorro and T he Legend of Zorro. It is scheduled to hit theaters in June 2011.
Reynolds will next be seen in thriller Buried, directed by Rodrigo Cortes, due in US theaters October 8, about a war contractor buried alive with only a lighter and a cell phone and 90 minutes of oxygen.
