As chairman of Bafta, all my spare time is spent catching up with the past year's releases. In the last few weeks I've watched: 'The Road', 'Brothers', 'The Blind Side', 'Coraline', 'Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll', 'The Men Who Stare at Goats', 'Fish Tank', 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'It's Complicated'.
Theatre
As the result of the above my theatre attendance has suffered, but I'm looking forward to seeing 'Enron'.
Books
I'm re-reading 'Flashman' by George MacDonald Fraser at the moment. I've been looking at 'The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe' by J Randy Taraborrelli, for a new film about the turbulent relationship between Monroe and Laurence Olivier. My new discovery is 'After the Fire, a Still Small Voice' by Evie Wyld. This is a great book by a first-time novelist.
Television
All my TV viewing tends to be through my V+ box. I caught up with the series finale of 'Spooks' and loads of episodes of '30 Rock', which I think is the best comedy currently on TV (when I can't find any episodes of 'Entourage'!)
