Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

I thought it was overlong, and the jokes that are condensed in the TV show are stretched out too far. Chef made a good appearance; you got to see Kenny with his anorak off, and there was some great xenophobia against Canada. So elements were good, but I did doze off half-way through.

I laughed and laughed. And laughed and laughed! I really liked the big musical numbers, which I didn't expect and which were really well done. And the whole concept of a war between the US and Canada was totally ridiculous. And there were so many little jokes and sight gags that would repay watching again.

My favourite part was going to Hell with Kenny. It just goes to show how Satan is truly misunderstood - you begin to see that he has very different facets to his personality than you read about in the Bible. If we just went down there and spoke to him we'd appreciate that he's a complex guy who wants to be loved.

It was completely outrageous; you couldn't take it seriously you just have to laugh. One of my favourite bits was the introduction of "Barbra Streisand" as a swear-word. The whole thing was completely over-the-top and ridiculous, which is why the South Park thing works.
