Education: Ucas course information
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.FOR THE ninth year running, The Independent, in association with the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (Ucas), is the only national newspaper to publish the service's full Clearing lists of course vacancies in British universities and higher education colleges.
The first Clearing supplement appears today and updated lists will be published daily for the next week. Regular supplements will appear until mid-September. Within these supplements we shall be highlighting courses on offer and the opportunities they provide for students.
In The Independent on Saturday, look out for our Parents' Guide which will be packed with vital information on how to support children on the next leg of their life's journey, whether their exam results were good or bad.
If you are on the Ucas list for entry to higher education this autumn, you should already have received in the post "Which Way 99" the ultimate guide to getting started in higher education, produced by The Independent in association with Ucas. This 48-page colour magazine is full of advice and information for those about to start at university or college.
If you haven't received your copy, please contact us.
