Your support makes all the difference.The Norwegian National Ballet, despite making its British debut this week, has always had links with this country. Its tiny predecessor, the Ny Norsk Ballet, ventured to London in the Forties, when it had Norwegian and British directors, Gerd Kjoclaas and Louise Browne. Now they have a Danish director but have chosen a production by a British choreographer: Michael Corder's staging of the Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet. The company arrives as part of a festival of Norwegian arts, "Visions of Norway", which also brings four small, modern dance groups to London for a two-week season at the ICA.
