Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

1995 has already been something of a vintage year for Bob Dylan fans. First the master played what many critics considered to be his best concerts in aeons. Then his contribution to the MTV Unplugged series (Columbia, CD/LP/tape) was unveiled to similarly warm reviews. Now Sony Music Video are releasing a video version of the album, Bob Dylan - MTV Un- plugged, recorded in New York at the end of last year.

The 73-minute video features 12 tracks, including many of Dylan's best-loved songs, played in the same semi-acoustic style as his recent concerts: 'All Along the Watchtower', 'The Times They Are a-Changin' ', 'Tombstone Blues', 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' and 'Like a Rolling Stone' are all included alongside 'John Brown', a live favourite recently issued for the first time, and a new song, 'Dignity'. The video usually costs £12.99, but we have 20 copies to give away to the first 20 readers to send us the answer to the following question:

At which venue did Dylan play his recent London concerts?

Answers on a postcard to Dylan, Arts, Independent on Sunday, 1 Canada Sq, London E14 5DL, by Fri 19 May. Usual rules apply.
