Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

I don't know who owns this venue but if it was yours you'd spend your time following clubbers around with dustpans, brushes and other assorted cleaning products. Boasting a luscious aesthetic, the Manor seems far too nice a place to hold regular parties, but who cares - you won't have to clear up afterwards.

If you haven't checked out Legacy before you might have to reach for a decent roadmap before heading down to the Bournemouth region. Matcham is not too readily associated with clubbing in the UK, making Legacy one of the best kept secrets in the South West.

Alex Gold, Stuart Patterson and Fraser Dodd take care of the beats tonight, playing hard house downstairs and uplifting garage house upstairs.

It doesn't take long for the action to get going but luckily for this animated crowd, Legacy's late licence is two hours longer than most of the nightclubs in the region.

Saturdays, Hurn Road, Matcham BH24 (01425 480855) 9pm-4am, pounds 6-pounds 10
