Winters made her Met Opera debut in Rigoletto in 2011, while a student at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, where she still resides. She followed it up with the premiere of Rufus Wainwright's All Days Are Night: Songs for Lulu, performing the entire song cycle at the New York City Opera.
