This family concert with the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra and the City of Sheffield Girl's Choir is in aid of Leuka 2000, the leukaemia charity, and is conducted by Christopher Gayford. Suitable for children of six and over.

Today's theme at this mega bookshop's Saturday storytime session is dragons and includes stories from Jack Kent's There's No Such Thing as a Dragon. Children can also take part in making a dragon collage.
Art Trolley

Every Sunday afternoon "trolley staff" will help your children to do everything from creating mini sculptures to embarking on the gallery's portrait trail. Suitable for children from three to 11, who must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Check at the information desk to find out which gallery the trolley is in when you arrive.

Children and their parents are invited to join in this 20th annual event organised by the Young Ornithologists Club, which this year is running the bird watch in conjunction with Tesco. The idea is that you count the birds that you can see in your garden or another specified area in a single hour this weekend. Registration forms are available from all Tesco stores.
Teddy Bear's Musical Picnic

At this afternoon concert for all the family, presented by Hatfields of Colchester Band and the Colne Valley Youth Orchestra, you can march to the music, sing along and even dance with giant teddy bears. Children are invited to bring their own teddy dressed in a costume from around the world.
