Your support helps us to tell the story

My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is in giving voice to underrepresented communities.

Your support is what allows us to tell these stories, bringing attention to the issues that are often overlooked. Without your contributions, these voices might not be heard.

Every dollar you give helps us continue to shine a light on these critical issues in the run up to the election and beyond

If, like me, after a heavy night on the town you wake up to find big black rings around your eyes, that seem impossible to get rid of even using half a bottle of make-up remover, you may be in need of a little miracle cure. Fortunately some angels in the labs at Estee Lauder have perhaps also had a few rough nights over Christmas, and thought there was a gap in the market for a product like Uncircle, Eye Treatment for Dark Circles. It is an oil-free gel cream which soothes, smoothes and hydrates the delicate eye area. It contains fish cartilage extract which helps to restore the capillaries, the little blood vessels that turn a purplish-brown colour, creating dark rings under your eyes. Other foody extracts include green tea and green olives; please do not try this at home, or you could end up with eyes that look more like hors d'oeuvre than calm, relaxed and refreshed.

Uncircle, Eye Treatment for Dark Circles, pounds 21, by Estee Lauder, exclusively from this Saturday at Selfridges, Oxford Street, London W1 (0171-629 1234), and stores such as House of Fraser and John Lewis from 26 January (enquiries, 0800-525 501).
