I'm on page 67 of The Character of Physical Law by Richard Feynman. It's a fascinating study of Newtonian physics and ideas, such as how the law of gravity applies to the universe. It's phenomenally clearly written - like all geniuses, he's able to say very complicated things very clearly, yet at the same time not back off from the complexities of real scientific truth. Also on my bedside table is In the Native State, Tom Stoppard's radio play on which his most recent West End production Indian Ink is based. It's brilliant.
