A first novel by comedian and autobiographer Rhona Cameron, this story of sex and drugs and dodgy oil paintings on a journey of self-discovery reads a little like her memoir.
The prose is clunky in places ("I decided to try to find out more about her... I wondered why I found her annoying yet compelling") but the gentle humour and the poignant ending make this a promising debut.
