The 66-year-old's passing was announced with a Discworld-inspired series of tweets yesterday afternoon, which started with the voice of Death saying: “AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER.
“Terry took Death’s arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night. The end.”
The poignant image, mirroring his 40 Discworld fantasy novels, has inspired a series of fan art paying tribute to Sir Terry.
