A lemur named after the fictional character Christian Grey from the best-selling book Fifty Shades Of Grey has met a love interest.
Bristol Zoo Gardens said it was "love at first sight" when it introduced Mrs Grey to Mr Grey last week. Now the two Alaotran gentle lemurs are behaving like newlyweds, sitting together most nights, zoo staff said.
Mr and Mrs Grey are members of one of the most critically endangered species of lemur in Madagascar. Mrs Grey arrived from Parc de Cleres in France last week while Mr Grey arrived on November 7 from Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust on Jersey, which manages a breeding programme for the lemurs.
