Your support makes all the difference.A unique event showcasing animal artwork is set to take place this week at Fulham Palace.
The fair will show work by both up-and-coming and established artists. Artists include Gill Parker, renowned for the life-size bronze of Derby winner, Motivator at Ascot Racecourse, Dominique Salm, winner of the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year award in the Mammals Category and Kate Denton, the current artist in resident at Hedingham Castle.
Organisers hope that the three-day event will offer prospective buyers and artists a specialist market place, in a bid to provide direct access to artists and their work.
Organisers Barnaby Parker and Jamie Polk envisage the 2010 fair being the first of many, with the main aim being “to develop strong relationships between artists and our visitors. We are really excited to be finding new talent and showcasing it direct to the buying public.”
The organisers have allocated space to just 40 artists with each being there to openly discuss their work.
Voicing her support for the unique event, renowned equestrian artist Susan Crawford praised the fair’s concept, highlighting the benefit for artists to “interact directly” with buyers and hoped it would become a “renowned springboard for many successful artists.”
