A cosmopolitan and unpretentious crowd will be treated to sound systems Boomshakalaka and Conscious Sounds keeping the bass throbbing with dub house before Zion Train perform live at midnight. Giant visuals, dub decor and organic video are the order of the day and together with food and market stalls make for a varied and interactive mood. Club UK Ipswich attracts a young and well-groomed crowd to Hollywood's each weekend - the decor is impressive and the DJ line-up is always eye- catching. With three rooms playing sounds ranging from hard house to garage, there's something for everyone. Barcaboodle on Saturday nights, at London's Raw, is gaining quite a reputation at present. The vibe is second to none, owing to great tunes and a bar room where you can have a conversation without resorting to hand signals. The main room tours through classic funk, hip-hop and garage; Luke Neville, Noel Watson and Jules Vern are steering the wheels of steel this weekend.
