Jean-Phillipe Mateta says he will come back ‘stronger’ after horror FA Cup challenge

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta suffered a serious head injury after a challenge by Millwall goalkeeper Liam Roberts during an FA Cup match.
Roberts was sent off after a VAR review for the high challenge, while Mateta was stretchered off and taken to hospital.
Palace manager Oliver Glasner described the incident as a "terrible foul" but acknowledged that the goalkeeper likely didn't intend to cause harm.
Mateta later posted on Instagram that he was doing well and hoped to return soon, stronger than ever.
Palace won the match 3-1 and advanced to the FA Cup quarter-finals.
