'It's not good is it?' Gavin Williamson asked about -43 approval rating
Education secretary Gavin Williamson was questioned about his low approval rating during a live television appearance on Sunday morning. The minister had been speaking about pupils returning to school from Monday 8 March when interviewer Sophy Ridge produced the numbers. “It’s not good, it is?” said the host after reading out the approval ratings of various cabinet members ending with Mr Williamson’s low rating of -43. The education secretary swerved the question, turning the topic back to children returning to school.
