The offer is valid for bookings including return flights for two people and a minimum stay of five nights’ accommodation and is valid for travel throughout the year.
Airlines across the board are also cutting their low season fares to Australasia: Royal Brunei has returns from Heathrow to Perth from £509, Qatar Airways has £675 to Melbourne and Emirates £695 to Sydney and just £4 more to Auckland. All are available through Travelmood ( travelmood.com) and are valid for travel between April and June.
A little closer to home, Emirates Tours ( emiratestours.co.uk) is offering discounts on the chance to live the high life in the Maldives. A seven-night stay in a deluxe bungalow at the Velassaru resort costs from £2,339 per person, which includes breakfast, business-class Emirates flights, chauffeur transfers to the airport in the UK and a speed-boat transfer to the resort; based on travel between 12 April to 15 July.
If luxury isn’t high on your agenda, then Acacia Africa ( acacia-africa.com) is having a half-price sale on its overland safaris. For example, the 19-day South West Safari takes in Botswana and Namibia, including Chobe National Park, bush camping in the Okavango Delta and game viewing in Etosha National Park. The price of £272 per person, plus a local payment of £259, includes all transport, camping accommodation, most meals and services of a tour leader; international flights are not included. Valid for 10 March departure.
Another bargain is being offered by NCL Freestyle Cruising, which is launching its latest ship, the Norwegian Epic this summer. Before it sets off on its maiden Transatlantic voyage on 24 June, you can stay overnight for £89 per person when it sails from Rotterdam to Southampton on 21 June. The price does not include meals, but there are 20 restaurants and bars to choose from, including the first cruise ship ice bar ( ncl.co.uk).
