Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Leicester have a huge penalty shout turned down after a challenge on Riyad Mahrez by Paul Dummett.

The replays are inconclusive. Well, at least to me they are. VAR, anybody?

GOAL! Stoke 0-1 Spurs (Eriksen, 52)

Spurs finally break the deadlock at the bet365 and it's Christian Eriksen with the goal as he slots home from close range after a Dele Alli-led counter-attack.

Maybe he's not having such a bad season after all...

GOAL! Stoke 1-1 Spurs (Diouf, 59)

Hugo Lloris didn't cover himself in glory against Chelsea last weekend and it's the same story today.

His attempted clearance smacks Mame Biram Diouf in the midriff, leaving the Stoke man with the simple task of rolling the ball into the empty net, which he duly does!

All square.

GOAL! West Brom 1-0 Swansea (Rodriguez, 54)

Jay Rodriguez gives the Baggies the lead as he turns home at the far post from Salomon Rondon's flick-on.

Could West Brom actually be about to win a game of football? Stay tuned to find out.

GOAL! Watford 1-0 Burnley (Pereyra, 61)

Hornets midfielder Roberto Pereyra breaks the deadlock at Vicarage Road as he lashes the ball home after good build-up involving Will Hughes and Troy Deeney.

Liam Corless7 April 2018 16:22

GOAL! Stoke 1-2 Spurs (Eriksen, 63)

Stoke weren't level for long!

Harry Kane wheels away in celebration but that looks like Christian Eriksen's goal, to be honest.

The Spurs striker attempted to flick on Eriksen's free-kick with his head but replays suggest the ball went straight in from the Dane's delivery.
