From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Burnley may still be firmly in the relegation zone but are much improved in recent weeks, with good draws against Newcastle and Manchester City and narrow defeats to Spurs and Liverpool.

Queens Park Rangers are also teetering on the brink with only two more points than Sean Dyche's team. In their most recent game Harry Redknapp’s side took a battering from League One team Sheffield United who progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup after a 3-0 win.

Striker Danny Ings has scored three of Burnley’s five goals against QPR in their last few meetings. Could he be the good luck talisman that the team need this weekend and bring them that much needed win?

KICK-OFF: Saturday, 3pm

PAST THREE MEETINGS…

QPR 2 (Fer, Austin) Burnley 0, Premier League, December 2014

QPR 3 (Doyle, Dunne, Maiga) Burnley 3 (Ings, Vokes 2), Premier League, February 2014

Burnley 2 (Ings 2) QPR 0, Premier League, October 2013

STATS…

Both teams have either lost or drawn their past four Premier League matches. This form would indicate that the teams will draw on Saturday.

On average Burnley have won 55.6% of their matches against QPR.

QPR have only won 22.2% of the time and draws share the same statistic so Burnley should technically have the upper hand.

ODDS…

QPR to win: 13/5

Draw: 12/5

TV: Highlights on BBC1 at 10.30pm.
