From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Leicester made it two wins on the bounce after beating Newcastle 3-0 on New Year’s Day.

Brendan Rodgers‘ men continue to sit second in the table with 45 points to their name – four ahead of third-placed Manchester City.

The visitors took the lead through former Newcastle man Ayoze Perez before James Maddison added a second with a superb strike outside of the box.

Hamza Choudhury capped off Leicester’s commanding display with another fine goal to make sure of the three points.
