Follow the latest updates live from the Premier League summer transfer window as clubs continue to strengthen ahead of the new season. Manchester City look poised to announce their first signing of the off-season with reports that a £24m fee has been agreed with Valencia for winger Ferran Torres, who could arrive to replace Leroy Sane imminently.

City have also been alerted to the availability of David Alaba, whose contract extension talks with Bayern Munich have hit a stalemate, while Chelsea are pressing on with their interest in another defender in Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell.

Arsenal meanwhile appear to have had a second offer for Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey rejected which included offering midfielder Matteo Guendouzi in the opposite direction, while the Gunners continue to be one of three clubs linked with Barcelona’s unwanted midfielder Philippe Coutinho, who is also being monitored by Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester. Manchester United meanwhile remain coy on their interest in Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, with Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa demanding £90m and £80 respectively for their prized assets. Follow the latest transfer news below.

Liverpool are also expected to dip their toes into the transfer market this summer, although Jurgen Klopp appears to have no interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara and will not make a move for the 29-year-old. The club instead have been linked with a replacement for Dejan Lovren in the form of Schalke defender Ozan Kabak, while they will also be on the hunt for a replacement for Adam Lallana, who joined Brighton on a three-year deal.

Discussions are at a "crucial stage" over a new contract for Dean Henderson, report Sky Sports, with Manchester United set to make him "one of the best-paid goalkeepers in Europe" if terms are agreed.

Wise move from United? And what happens next season, is one of the highest earners for the position going out on loan again? Sheffield United surely won't cover the full amount!

Lazio have been linked with Manchester City's David Silva recently, but director Igli Tare says he doesn't know where the stories came from.

Goal.com say Lazio are focused on building around star striker Ciro Immobile, and while they could offer Silva a "different experience" there's no definite approach or interest.

Possibly a spanner in the works for Arsenal, ahead of their FA Cup final at the weekend and their summer plans. The Gunners are keen on another loan deal for Dani Ceballos next term - but the midfielder would prefer a return to Real Betis.

That's the report from Mundo Deportivo, who say the Andalucian side have to sell a couple of players first to cover the loan fee and Ceballos' wages.

And the same outlet, Mundo Deportivo, say Barcelona are interested in Diogo Dalot.

The Catalan side are hopeful of signing the full-back for just £10 million, as they have severe financial constraints this summer and he is well out of favour at Manchester United.

News out of Portugal suggests that Wolves are on the verge of a £30 million-signing.

A Bola earlier, and RTP in the afternoon, have reported that Braga striker Paulinho is "imminent".

The bad news? They both report that he's signing as a replacement for Raul Jimenez, who is in turn heading to Manchester United.

Swansea City lost out on promotion as they were beaten by Brentford 3-2 on aggregate, with Rhian Brewster scoring their goal in the second leg.

The Liverpool youngster netted 11 in total during his half-season loan spell in Wales and manager Steve Cooper says he'd love to get the 20-year-old back next season.

"If Liverpool decide to put him out on loan again, we would like to think we will be more than in the mix to get him," Cooper said, per BBC Sport.

There have already been suggestions that at least two Premier League clubs are also keen on taking Brewster if the Reds don't decide to keep him at Anfield for 20/21.

Another rumour from Spanish media incoming.

Everton and West Ham United are in talks to sign Martin Braithwaite, whose time at the Camp Nou looks to be over predictably quickly.

That's the story from Mundo Deportivo, who say Barcelona will offload the striker for £16m despite only signing him earlier this year on an emergency deal.
