The game finishes with the scoreline 1-0 to the visitors. They are full value for the victory, as Everton really struggled to get going and create many clear-cut opportunities. It was a quiet first half, with Jimenez and Richarlison going closest for their respective teams as the game went into the break goalless. That changed soon into the second half though, when Coady got on the end of a Neves cross to nod his side in front. Richarlison nearly got his side back on level terms, but his header struck the outside of the post and went wide. The hosts' task was made harder on 79 minutes, when Kenny receives two bookings within a couple of minutes to earn himself an early bath. Wolves held firm in the remainder of the game to give them a hard-fought win.
