Arsenal v Southampton

Limpar is likely to replace Wright (groin) for Arsenal, who recall Winterburn to their squad. Southampton centre-back Hall (broken toe) is out, but full-back Benali returns after suspension.

Aston Villa v Sheff Wed

Villa winger Daley is set for his first start after a six-month lay-off. Full-back Small is likely to drop out with Staunton retreating from midfield. Wednesday are expected to be unchanged. Striker Atkinson is in the squad after operation.

Blackburn v Middlesbrough

Cowans may replace Sherwood (suspended) in midfield for Rovers, who have Moran, Newell and Wright fit again. Midfielder Kamara and defender Whyte are fit to return for Boro, but Kernaghan (thigh) is very doubtful.

Chelsea v Tottenham

Wise is fit to return for Chelsea, but Fleck (ankle) is out. Hall is available after suspension. Tottenham are without Allen (ankle), Durie (groin), Hendry (finger), Howells (foot), Fenwick (ribs, thigh), Cundy (back), Walker (ill) and Moran (back). Sedgley, Thorstvedt, Mabbutt and Samways faces tests.

Ipswich v Coventry City

Ipswich hope midfielder Williams (hip) will return, but full-back Thompson (hamstring) is still out. Quinn and Hurst are fit to return for Coventry.

Liverpool v Everton

Liverpool have Marsh suspended and Redknapp (back) faces a test. Ebbrell returns to the Everton squad, but Johston and Beagrie are left out.

Man City v Man Utd

City's player-manager, Reid, will leave it late to name a team. United will be unchanged, but Robson (sciatica) returns to the bench after a three-month absence.

Oldham Athletic v QPR

Oldham have striker Marshall (hip) fit after two games out and call up forward Tolson. QPR have Stejskal on stand-by as Roberts (eye) faces a test, as do Ferdinand, Doyle and Wilson. Sinton and Holloway are fit to return.

Sheffield Utd v Crystal P

Palace hope Thorn will be fit after a knee operation two weeks ago to replace Humphrey (bruised knee) in defence. Otherwise Shaw will play.

Wimbledon v Norwich City

Wimbledon's Jones (head) faces a test and Sanchez stands by. Norwich's top scorer Robins (thigh) is doubtful, Butterworth (hamstring) is out, but Megson is fit to return.

TOMORROW

Nottm Forest v Leeds Utd

Leeds defender Fairclough (groin) is doubtful, Newsome stands by. Strachan and Whyte are suspended.
