Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas is set to meet David Cameron in London today.

Abbas, who is on an official state visit to the UK, will discuss the urgent need for progress in the Middle East peace process with the Prime Minister when they meet at Downing Street this afternoon.

Mr Abbas is also due to meet Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Labour Party leader Ed Miliband.
