Year to 31 March

Feedback, the electronic and electrical equipment maker, reported a 32 per cent decline in pre-tax profits to pounds 721,000 ( pounds 1.1m). The fall in profits was attributed to lower turnover from Feedback Data, its data collection subsidiary and substantial losses at Feedback Inc, its US operation. Group sales overall dropped to pounds 9.5m ( pounds 9.8m). EPS 5.74p (7.66p). The total payout was unchanged at 1.5p.

Metrotect Industries, the pipeline protection products maker, announcing its maiden results since going public last year, has edged pre-tax profits ahead from pounds 2.3m to pounds 2.4m. EPS 7.35p (7.89p). Total dividend is 3.45p.

TGI, maker of loudsdpeaker systems, more than tripled pre-tax profits from pounds 409,000 to pounds 1.25m. EPS 5.2p (2.8p). The total dividend is 2p (1.5p).

Others

Enviromed, which makes diagnostic devices for environmental and medical applications, turned round from pounds 76,000 taxable loss to pounds 126,000 pre-tax profit in the six months to 31 March on turnover up to pounds 2.85m ( pounds 2.1m). EPS 0.87p (LPS 1.73p). Dividend is 0.2p.

Heavitree Brewery, the pub operator, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 507,000 ( pounds 401,000) in the six months to 30 April. EPS 3.8p (3.2p). Dividend is 1p (0.6p).

John Foster & Son, the worsted and mohair cloth maker, reduced taxable losses from pounds 5.1m to pounds 1.7m for the year to 28 February. Turnover fell to pounds 15.9m ( pounds 20.5m). LPS 15.5p (35.7p). No dividend.
