Clubs: AT THE CLUB FACE
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

@ ministry of sound
Next week, six of the UK's biggest clubs will be joining forces with the Health Education Authority and the National Aids Trust to mark the 10th anniversary of World Aids Day.
From The Tunnel in Glasgow to The Zap Club in Brighton, the events hope to raise awareness among clubbers about HIV and Aids.
London is represented by the Ministry of Sound. Managing director Mark Rodal, is sure that the message will get through. "Creating awareness in a club environment will make people stop and listen in a hard-hitting way. The one minute's silence in one of London's busiest clubs will be a real shock to them. They'll definitely absorb the message."
Monday 1 December, 103 Gaunt St, SE1 (0171-378 6528) Fresh & Funky @ hanover grand London's phatest R&B gig features a live showcase with Filo this week that looks sure to have punters queuing around the square. This week, Rotating Records release their debut single of the year, "Playa" from Filo, a song that has been sending good vibrations out from Kiss 100 for a while.
The night offers the usual menu of dark tunes: R&B, hip-hop and grimy beatz feature upstairs; while rare grooves and jazz-funk vibes rule in the basement. There's no dress code, but make sure you arrive early as the crowds of latecomers and blaggers that descend on the door around the witching hour make queuing a lottery. Filo appears at Midnight.
