While today is indeed Friday, it’s not technically Black Friday. Black Friday starts next week, but let’s not quibble about the specifics. Black Friday has basically already started, with plenty of retailers slashing prices on all the top products I’ve had my eye on throughout the year.

The retailer has also slashed the price of other fragrances by 20 per cent, including Chanel no5 eau de parfum spray (was £145, now £116, Johnlewis.com).

Nespresso has produced some very pocket-friendly coffee machines. Case in point, the vertu pop – which , with this deal, is even more of a steal. With a 30 per cent discount, the price has dropped to less than £70.

They also noted that it’s “all incredibly sleek and streamlined”, which makes it a great pick for those coffee drinkers looking for a “fuss-free” appliance. “All used pods are stored in a tray inside, which can be pulled out and thrown away, and one simple button on the top is all you need to press”, they explained.
