Black Friday 2024 live: Latest deals so far, from Samsung S95D TV to Dunelm
Brands and retailers are kicking off their Black Friday sales early, with deals on Ninja, PlayStation, Yoto and more
Black Friday 2024 kicks off in less than a week, but retailers from Currys, Argos and Debenhams to Boots and Shark have already kicked off their sales. Ecommerce giant Amazon is the latest to launch, with Sony PlayStation and Glossier joining this weekend.
Whether you’re looking to stock up on beauty essentials, replace your old laptop or invest in a new mattress, the IndyBest team is compiling hundreds of deals in our Black Friday shopping guides. But for real-time updates on discounts and news as it drops, our liveblog has you covered.
But, whether you’re after a TV, toys, jewellery or furniture, the biggest price drops aren’t necessarily the most impressive. The best, genuine deals are those on products that are actually worth your money, so we’ll make sure to bring you offers on items we’ve tested ourselves.
So far, Dyson’s Black Friday sale has discounted the cultairwrap while Sony has discounted the price of the PS5 Slim to an all-time low. Elsewhere, you can find bargains at John Lewis, Argos, Lookfantastic and more. It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest Black Friday sales ever.

Xbox controller Black Friday deals have landed
The frustrating thing about the Xbox Series X is that it only comes with one controller in the box. Thankfully, there’s already a deal to be found at Amazon.
Xbox wireless controller: Was £59.99, now £39.99, Amazon.co.uk
You can grab an extra Xbox Wireless Controller at Amazon for £39.99, down from £59.99. It offers seamless connectivity with your Xbox, a comfortable design and responsive controls – perfect for multiplayer sessions. If you’re looking to expand your gaming setup or need a backup, now’s the time to pick one up.
There are also deals on the AirPods 4 and AirPods Max
The AirPods 4 boast active noise cancellation, though they miss out on touch controls and longer battery life.
The AirPods Max meanwhile offer an immersive over-ear listening experience with incredible sound and premium design.
Both are discounted right now, so, it’s a great time to grab a pair.
I’ve rounded up the best AirPods Black Friday deals available to shop now, in my article below:
Best AirPods Black Friday deals include £50 off AirPods Pro 2
There are also savings to be found on the AirPods Max and AirPods 4
AirPods Pro 2 plummet to all-time low price
Here’s a deal I spotted yesterday on Apple’s flagship AirPods Pro 2 at the EE Store. Now at their lowest price ever, these are the earbuds I wear daily – and they never disappoint.

These are my go-to earbuds for their incredible noise cancellation, rich sound quality and comfortable fit – perfect for everything from listening to music to watching a film on the Lizzie line. Right now, they’re £50 off at EE, dropping to their lowest price ever.
Save a huge 21% on a Hotel Chocolat velvetiser starter kit
I’m a hot chocolate fiend, and the Hotel Chocolat velvetiser makes the creamiest, most indulgent homemade hot chocolates I’ve ever tasted. If you’re craving that same velvety richness, you’re in luck.
Hotel Chocolat velvetiser starter kit: Was £109.95, now £86.95, Amazon.co.uk
This sleek gadget whips up barista-quality hot chocolate in minutes, giving you rich, creamy drinks at home. With 21 per cent off on Amazon, it’s the perfect time to treat yourself to a chocolatey upgrade. Save almost £20 on this Yoto Player Black Friday bundle
I’ll come back to PlayStation deals in just a moment, but first, let me interrupt this stream of bargains with an unmissable discount on the Yoto Player.
Yoto Player and ‘Harry Potter Books 1-3 bundle’: Was £137.98, now £119.99, Yotoplay.com
If you’ve heard of the Toniebox, then let me introduce you to the Yoto Player, which is secretly IndyBest toys writer Zoe’s preferred screen-free audio player for kids. Perfect for stories, music, and learning. This bundle includes the first three Harry Potter books on Yoto cards. You’ll save £17.99, bringing the price down to £119.99. A magical deal for young listeners.
The PS5 Slim disc edition console has hit a rock-bottom price
If you prefer having the disc drive attached to the console from the off, then you’re in luck – the PS5 Slim disc edition console is also on sale at its lowest-ever price this Black Friday.
PS5 Slim disc edition: Was £479.99, now £399.99, Amazon.co.uk
The main advantage of the disc drive console is its ability to play physical media, whether that’s Blu-Ray discs or physical games. If you hadn’t heard, there’s currently a major shortage of PS5 disc drives – they’re sold out almost everywhere. This means the only way to get one is by buying the PS5 disc drive console. The good news? It’s cheaper this way. You’ll pay just £89 for the disc drive instead of £99, and with an £80 discount already applied, it’s an excellent deal.
PlayStation Black Friday deals have begun, with PS5 at all-time low price.
The biggest bit of Black Friday news for me today is that Sony PlayStation has kicked off its Black Friday sales, and the company has discounted both the PS5 Slim disc and PS5 Slim digital edition consoles to their lowest-ever prices. If you’re in the market for a new console, now’s the best time to grab one.
PS5 Slim digital edition console: Was £389.99, now £309.99, Amazon.co.uk
The all-digital PS5 Slim has smashed to its lowest price yet this Black Friday, with an £80 discount. While it skips the disc drive, you can always add one at a later date if you fancy it. The Slim comes with upgraded internal storage, so you’ll have plenty of space for all your games. Performance-wise, it’s identical to the disc edition, so you don’t need to worry about getting an inferior product.
Is today Black Friday?
Good morning shoppers, and happy Friday.
