North Korean soldiers, employed by Russia, launched "suicidal," human-wave attacks against Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region.
These attacks aimed to overwhelm Ukrainian defences, resulting in significant North Korean casualties.
Russia's offensive in Kursk involved advanced tactics, including long-range, fibre-optic-controlled drones resistant to electronic warfare.
Following a dispute between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office, Ukraine lost access to US intelligence, impacting their defence against the Russian advance.
Despite heavy losses and being forced to retreat, Ukrainian forces inflicted substantial casualties on Russian troops and equipment using drones and artillery.
