Nicholas Prosper, 19, has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 49 years for the murder of his mother, brother, and sister in Luton.
Prosper planned a school massacre targeting at least 30 children and two teachers at his former primary school, aiming to surpass the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
He meticulously planned the attack for over a year, forging a shotgun license and conducting surveillance at the school.
Prosper's plot was foiled when neighbors alerted police after hearing a struggle in the family's flat.
He was found with a shotgun and ammunition, and later expressed regret for not killing more people.
