Stricly's Annabel Croft reveals show helped her process husband's death
  • Former tennis player Annabel Croft revealed her late husband, Mel Coleman, experienced persistent pains in his side before being diagnosed with cancer.
  • Initially dismissed as indigestion, the pains turned out to be a symptom of colon cancer, which later spread to other organs.
  • Coleman died from sepsis caused by a perforation from a tumour after a trip to Portugal, just 16 weeks after his diagnosis.
  • Croft and Coleman were married for 30 years and had three children. They even started a tennis academy together during lockdown.
  • Inspired by her husband's love for the show, Croft participated in Strictly Come Dancing following his passing.
