Your support makes all the difference.What is it? A drama looking at the 1974 disappearance of Lord Lucan following the murder of a nanny, Sandra Rivett, in his home. Jeff Pope based his script on John Pearson’s speculative book The Gamblers; it stars Rory Kinnear and Christopher Eccleston.
The Independent says: “Even Pope’s astute script couldn’t quite shake off a growing sense of queasiness that here was murder regurgitated as entertainment … Lucan was a brilliantly acted, cleverly scripted and beautifully shot drama. I’m not sure it should have ever been made.”
